    Born in the mid-90s, the sound emanating from a sensibility untainted by anything else will be a catalyst for the future of the scene: a new generation has emerged that can easily jump over and crossover between various categories such as US indie, melodic, punk, guitar pop, and more.
    Listening to NOT WONK in the years following this album was a rare experience that allowed one to experience the transformation of a boy into a young man as a documentary.
    Ten years have passed since then, and the band has grown up and continues to be active on the front lines of the Japanese rock scene. There is something special in this work that can only be heard on their first album. It is a masterpiece that will not fade away even 10 years later, and represents the 2010s.
