From the late 80's to mid 90's, based in Osaka, Japan, the band was one of the few bands at the time influenced by the UK neo-acoustic sound. The band was featured in the fanzine "British Music" and performed with Lollipop Sonic, the predecessor of Flipper's Guitar, and Penny Arcade.
In February 2017, the band performed at Penny Arcade's reunion show for the first time in 23 years. In October, the band released "Lost And Found," a collection of unreleased songs from Kirikiri Villa, which was greatly acclaimed.
In June of 2019, the band's first new song in 25 years will be released on 7-inch analog vinyl, and the long-awaited live performance in Osaka, which has been requested since the reunion live in 2017, will finally be realized.

It was 1990, and the four members of Debonair were living a music-soaked life in England. Another sun" is a work from that time. The sparkling music, a model of neo-acoustic music, was played live only once after returning to Japan, but was soon discarded. Nakai's interest had completely shifted to Manchester.
Decades later, the live recordings of those days were unearthed by Kirikirivila and included in the unreleased song collection "Lost And Found" in 2017, bringing them back into the light of day.
Reconstructed with the nuances of the original song intact, "Another Sun" is their first 7-inch record release in 30 years since their classic debut 7-inch "Through the street".
The catchy melody line with a sense of speed reminiscent of Aztec Camera and the cynical lyrics written in the style of Morrissey, "Another Sun" is the first 7-inch record released in 30 years. A masterpiece that lives up to its name, Naniwa's Pale Fountains.
