    Resonance, a hope formed in SENDAI CITY, a renowned melodic punk production area since the mid-90s, has released a 4sings 7inch packed with four gems!

    Formed a band in the light music club Asteroids at Tohoku University. While digging through many genres and scenes such as post-hardcore and 90's emo, Oishi (Vo.) literally fell in love with bands under the influence of the UK melodic scene, represented by the prestigious label snuffy smile.
    This album was recorded in a way that maximises the band's current, honest charm and atmosphere, with as little bold arrangement or coloring as possible.

    The band's melodic melodies are fast and furious, the lyrics thoughtful and insightful with influences like Snuff, Leatherface and Jawbreaker, the vocals lush and coarse and passionate, reminiscent of International Jet Set, and the music is a mixture of melodic punk, formal melodic punk, Sadness riffs reminiscent of Eversor, and mass rock tapping. The band's sound is not confined to a formal melodic punk framework, but contrasts with the sadness of Eversor-esque riffs and mass-rock-like tapping. The swirl of thrusting sounds, exploding blues and sharpened melancholy strikes deep into the heart of the mind.

90年代中盤から脈々と続くメロディックパンクの名産地、SENDAI CITYにて結成されたブライテストホープ、Resonanceが珠玉の4曲を詰め込んだ7inchをリリース！

I LIKE YOUNG GIRLやportなどを輩出してきた"東北大学軽音楽部アステロイズ”にてバンドを結成。ポストハードコアや90'sエモなど多くのジャンルやシーンを掘るうちにOishi（Vo.）が文字通りに夢中になってしまったのが名門レーベルsnuffy smileに代表されるUKメロディックシーン影響下のバンドたち。

今作では、大胆なアレンジや色を付けることは極力せずに、バンドが持ちあわせている今現在の素直な魅力や空気感をそのまま最大限に膨らませる形で録音。録音・ミックスはクドウヒロオ、マスタリングは中村宗一郎（PEACE MUSIC）が手掛けた。

2023年6月に発表しSNSを中心に反響が大きかった1st EPと比べて今作の楽曲はしっかりとオリジナリティが深化。Snuffに代表されるような荒々しい演奏に愁いのあるメロディーが疾走し、leatherfaceやJawbreakerの影響下にあるような思慮深く洞察力に富んだ歌詞。International Jet Setを彷彿とさせるような青々しくも粗く熱く唄い上げるボーカル。その中で形式的なメロディックパンクの枠に収まらず、Eversorにも通ずるようなSadnessなリフや、マスロック然としたタッピングをアクセントに、聞き応えのある展開でコントラストを魅せる。突き詰めたサウンド、爆発させる青さと研ぎ澄まされた哀愁の渦が心の奥底を直撃する。
