A six-track mini-album released after their first album 'hiding place', and includes two 7 "s released before the first album.
The sound source was remastered and reissued by UKP / Wonder Release in 2003.

After the US tour that followed 'Hiding Place', the band returned to Japan with a great response and immediately recorded 'purple bike'. It includes 'N.I.T.A.' by the young marble giants and 'turn it on' by the flaming rips, which they often played live at the time.
Early demos included covers of their roots Galaxie 500 and Television.

”shiny blue dead fish” was recorded in Boston while on US tour 1995.
