    It is no exaggeration to say that Japan's original garage punk began with TEXACO LEATHER MAN, and their latest live recording is now available on 45rpm 12" in high sound quality for DJ use.

    The album features five tracks from a live performance at the HAKAIDERS release party held at Koenji HIGH on April 16 this year, mixed by Atsuo of Boris. Except for the free session that opens the album, all of the songs are TEXACO's signature tracks from their only album "DUKE" released in 2003 so far, but this recording is 200% more ferocious, backed up by the rich musical tastes of new bassist Tsubasa.

    The new recording is a more psychedelic and junky sound product backed by the rich musical tastes of new bassist Tsubasa. There are few rock bands in the world that can deliver the same unexplained destructive power and unidentified exuberance as the junk garage that TEXACO has achieved, and this record delivers it in spades.
