2003 reissue of sugar plant's debut album and next mini-album plus 3 early singles.

Influenced by The Velvet Underground and Television, the group was formed in 1993, and its sound, inspired by Galaxie 500 and Yo La Tengo, was very rare in Japan at the time.
They were very unique in Japan at that time, when the influence from the British scene was strong.
After the release of this album, the band toured the U.S., where they met many bands that shared the same sensibilities as they did, and their full-fledged overseas orientation was solidified.
As the first album, singer Chinatsu's vocals are very fresh, and the songs all sound evergreen.
It was released in Japan on Wonder Release and in the U.S. on Boston-based Pop Narcotic Records.
