    First new album in nine years!

    Active in Japan's deep underground scene since their formation in 1991, their predecessor band Dip The Flag, active in the late 80s, was inspired by new wave and post-punk and, like their international counterparts, were under the They were under the strong influence of The Velvet Underground and The Doors, as well as international artists.
    Since their first album in 1993, they have released 14 albums.
    The band has gained the absolute trust of core listeners as the legitimate successors of serious Japanese rock from the 60s onwards, such as Jacks, Les Rallizes Denudes, Friction and The Roosters.
    The essence of dip is psychedelic garage rock, but it also has a strong aura of being very literary, including its taciturn appearance, and has sometimes received enthusiastic love calls from the shoegaze and goth scenes.

    Guitarist and singer Kazuhide Yamaji is respected by many musicians as one of the top rock guitarists on the Japanese scene. His style is as cool as Tom Verlaine, as sharp as Robert Quine, as driving as Johnny Thunders and as dazzling as Kevin Shields. His playing has even earned Johnny Marr an avowed fan of his.
    It is a miracle that a band that spent its teenage years in the post-punk and new wave era, and whose roots were formed in the 1990s, is still active in Japan without losing its intensity.
