    Two songs from each of the six representative album titles were released on 7" in 2022 as a special project for the 30th anniversary of Boris' formation.
    Also available on Bandcamp!

    NOISE" was released in 2014.
    After releasing three albums in 2011, the band released a series of works under the lowercase name "präparat", "The moment you looked away -the thing which solomon overlooked- chronicle", and a reissue of "vein" in 2013, and released a collection of live sound sources from the early to mid Archive 1 and 2", a collection of live recordings from the early to mid-period. On their overseas tours, the band has performed two days of residency shows in major cities, presenting their latest songs as well as past songs in new forms.
    This was a time when the band began to adopt a style of presenting past works and sound sources to listeners in a new form as a means of expression, while always keeping an eye on the future.
    Around this time, Michio Kurihara, who had worked with Boris for six years, left the group due to unavoidable circumstances, and Boris once again entered a new phase as a three-piece organization. The album "NOISE" was co-produced with Shinobu Narita, as in "NEW ALBUM". The single cuts "Kuroko Neko Melody" and "Vanilla" were originally produced with a four-piece lineup, but were rearranged for a three-piece lineup before being completed.
    While unraveling the already existing structure of the songs, new colors are added, and they are expanded and updated to sound even more organic.
    The atmosphere woven by the variety of songs and their elasticity is connected to the atmosphere of "W," the latest work in the series.
    NOISE" is the germ of this new work.
